My journey with woodworking began in the 1980s, building my first tree fort. What started as a childhood curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion. From high school shop classes to formal joinery training at BCIT, and advanced courses at the Inside Passage School of Fine Woodworking, I’ve spent decades honing my craft.
Rather than follow a single design tradition, I embrace a diverse and imaginative approach—drawing from traditional, contemporary, and artistic forms of joinery. This flexibility allows each piece to be truly unique, tailored to both function and character.
With over 20 years of experience in home renovation, I bring a builder’s mindset and a craftsman’s eye to every project. From bespoke cabinetry to custom furniture, every detail is carefully considered. Precision, durability, and design integrity are the hallmarks of my work.
Born and raised on Vancouver’s North Shore, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the natural beauty of British Columbia. That connection guides my practice. I approach every project with a respect for the forest and the materials it provides—working sustainably, and celebrating the character of each piece of wood.
